To support Primary schools to cope with drug issues whilst promoting good practice in:

• Drug education in the classroom

• Managing drug incidents and supporting children

• Supporting and training other staff

• Involving and consulting children

• Working with parents and governors

• Developing a (new) drug policy

This Healthwise Training Services programme is aimed at anyone who works with young people and has the opportunity to deliver formal or informal drug education.

There is no previous knowledge or experience required to attend this course as all necessary resources, information and contacts are included in the programme.
