Healthwise Training Services This programme is specifically designed to be delivered to young men . It addresses the delicate issues of drug use, alcohol use and sexual health. Preparing young men for the pitfalls and dangers that often lie in wait for them, prevention being better than cure, this course addresses all relevant issues and encourages debate and questioning of accepted stereotypes. AimsThis one-day programme aims to increase and develop course participants’ knowledge and understanding of the effects, risks and consequences of drug and alcohol use from the perspective of the young man. It also aims
to raise awareness of the sensitive issues of sexually transmitted infections,

Who this course is aimed at This programme is specifically designed to target young men. It is suitable for direct delivery to the young men themselves but is also suitable for delivery to older participants who may benefit from the content. It can also be delivered directly to managers, supervisers, those working with LAC, Youth Workers or anyone involved in delivering life skills to young men. This programme demands no previous knowledge on the part of the participants and can also be adapted to incorporate any other information to meet the specific requirements of your target group. All participants completing this course will receive a certificate of attendance and a comprehensive portfolio of information for future reference in a binder.
