This programme is aimed at anyone who works with young people who are or soon will be sexually active providing activities and advice on delivery of contraception education. It is also suitable for direct delivery to young people themselves when activities are delivered in the third person - 'one step removed' - for the safety and comfort of all participants. Learning mentors, LAC workers, Youth worker, YOT workers, School nurses, PSHCE teachers etc will benefit from completing this programme. This day provides examples of activities for use with young people around contraception. All participants completing this Healthwise Training Services programme will receive a certificate of attendance and a comprehensive portfolio of information for future reference in a binder.
