Healthwise Training Services - A One Day ProgrammeAims The aims of this course are: To develop knowledge and increase understanding of the issues of alcohol consumption amongst young people and identify the potential impact of alcohol use on their health and lifestyles. This programme further aims to explore the need for alcohol education and identify good practice when talking to young people about alcohol Learning Objectives On completion of the programme participants will be able to:
This programme is aimed at anyone involved with or working with young people who use alcohol. For example LAC workers, learning mentors, Connexions staff, YOT staff , Youth workers etc. It does not demand a high level of previous subject knowldege on behalf of those attending - if you would like to add or remove any of the aims/objectives please contact us. All participants completing this course wil receive a certificate of attendance and a comprehensive portfolio of information and activities for future reference or to inform colleagues, in a binder.
