Aim The programme aims to increase and develop participants’ knowledge, understanding and awareness of HIV/AIDS and the recognised routes of transmission. The programme also aims to develop a shared understanding of some of the terminology used within the HIV/AIDS field.

This programme is aimed at anyone who wishes to increase their knowledge and understanding of HIV and AIDS. It requires no previous knowledge from the participants and will provide a good, comprehensive introduction to the subject. All participants completing this course will receive a certificate of attendance and a portfolio of information for future reference in a binder.
